I am currently Manager of Soshianest Institute of Technology, Shiraz, Iran. My current research interests are in business forecasting, forecasting support systems and data mining. More specifically, I am researching Machine Learning apply at realms of Industrial Engineering. I am looking at the feature selection problem.
Other research interests include Classification, clustering, inventory control, forecasting intermittent demand patterns, new product forecasting, outlier detection and exponential smoothing parameter estimation.
I have been involved in research projects with companies worldwide in the retailing, energy, cosmetics as well as public sector services.
